My sweet friends.

If someone had told me a couple years ago that I’d be sitting here writing you this letter I would’ve laughed. But as I’ve been through so much personally and professionally those last couple of years, and the older I get, I realize more and more how quickly time flies. How short life really is. And most of all, that change is ok, and sometimes for the best.

....win the trip to Nashville!? Ahhh, the anticipation!

Thanks to everyone for participating, and I hope you enjoyed all the behind the scenes stuff, as well as the video for "A Woman Needs!" It was so much fun to make and I'm really happy with the end result. :)

...speaking of radio.....you should probably call your local country station and request "A Woman Needs"! Like, eight times a day! Let's get this baby rollin'!

Ok, so I'll give you a little info about the "A Woman Needs" video, which you will all be able to see in January.

The song is about strong women, women following their hearts and their dreams. All of this was incorporated in to the video. It was very important to me that the video reflect the meaning of the song, as it's one of the most special songs on the record to me. And my fabulous director Kristin Barlowe came up with an extremely cool way to tell a story with the meaning of the song.

For those who don't follow my tweeting, I was with my awesome tattoo artist over the weekend getting some new ink done - I actually got two tatts plus a touch up on another - I think that's a record for me!

Anyway I will be posting some video from the tatting extravaganza on Twitter tomorrow, which will lead to a blog and post with some information - a little tease, if you will - about the "A Woman Needs" video storyline. For anyone who's interested anyway.
