Vince Gill…

…sang on my record this evening!

I’ve known this was going to happen for awhile and have been bursting to tell you! I asked Vince about a year ago if he would sing on my record, being such a huge fan of his, and he said yes!

So in making this record, after writing a song with another hero of mine, Darrell Scott, called “Homemade Love,” I knew that was the song that would be perfect for Vince to sing on. And it happened today!

Just FYI, the entire process of making this record is being filmed, including tonight, for later use, so I can’t share it now, but I did unabashedly have my fan moment and asked for a photo, which he graciously took with me, so that I could at least give you guys that along with the update.

So to say the least, I have had a pretty amazing day, and am humbled and blessed that one of the greatest voices (and biggest hearts) in country music history has been captured on my record!!

That’s the latest and greatest! More updates as they come, as the record is very, very close to being finished! YAY!
