Almost Done!

Hey guys-

Very soon I will finally be able to share with you all the information about the first single and the release dates for that as well as the record. All I can tell you at the moment that starting very early 2009 I will be rocking and rolling and it’s going to be a big, busy crazy year for me. And I cannot wait!

I want to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for your patience during this process. I am so proud of my record and I really hope you guys love it as much as I do. I am going to have so much fun promoting and touring the record, and I am SO anxious to get back out there! So thanks for sticking with me!!

I can tell you a few things that are going on this week:

- Hopefully we will have a new temporary, but revamped website, courtesy the great and powerful Weiser, complete with a couple of special demos from my catalog that didn’t make the record, just to tide you over until there is new music. Eventually WB will do the full blown site, but this will be great until then. And the plan is to keep this site and ultimately the final one to be kept very interactive so that I can check in with written and video blogs as much as possible throughout the entire process.

- I am going to LA for a few days this week to take care of some business, but also to reconnect with all the wonderful people that book late night and day time television shows, so that hopefully in the spring I will have the pleasure to be back on Leno, Letterman, etc. debuting my first single live! And I hope to get to do shows like Ellen that the Wreckers weren’t able to during our television run. So keep your fingers crossed that they’ll all have me back!

- And last but not least, I will fly home, jump in to the studio at the end of the week, and lay down the last of my vocals and…..MY RECORD WILL BE FINISHED! Finally! I know it seems weird that it’s taken from May until now to finally finish up, but it’s been a great process, taking lots of care and thought in picking the right songs, the right players for each session, and I’m glad it’s been spread out over the year. It never felt rushed, which is important to me. And I truly feel I’ve made the best record that I can, and couldn’t be happier with it. I just hope you guys like it as much as I do!

SO, I know you still don’t have the exact info I was hoping to be able to give you by now, but I promise it’s coming very soon. So I guess I’m updating you about the update. Haha. Soon, soon!

Hope everyone is well, and please take it from the bottom of my heart, no BS, that I am so touched that those of you who have stuck around during the wait - well that means more to me than you know. And that’s one of the reasons I love my life and my job so much - people like you. And I can’t wait to get back out on the road and see all of your smiling faces again!!
