My sweet friends.

If someone had told me a couple years ago that I’d be sitting here writing you this letter I would’ve laughed. But as I’ve been through so much personally and professionally those last couple of years, and the older I get, I realize more and more how quickly time flies. How short life really is. And most of all, that change is ok, and sometimes for the best.

Notching the biggest debut of the week is Jessica Harp’s “A Woman Needs,” which gains just shy of 100 spins and moves to No. 69. The song’s video has been shot and will be released to outlets in early 2010. “The song is about strong women, women following their hearts and their dreams. All of this was incorporated in to the video,” says Harp on her blog at jessicaharp.com.

Ok, so I'll give you a little info about the "A Woman Needs" video, which you will all be able to see in January.

The song is about strong women, women following their hearts and their dreams. All of this was incorporated in to the video. It was very important to me that the video reflect the meaning of the song, as it's one of the most special songs on the record to me. And my fabulous director Kristin Barlowe came up with an extremely cool way to tell a story with the meaning of the song.

Now, for the finished product....

For those who don't follow my tweeting, I was with my awesome tattoo artist over the weekend getting some new ink done - I actually got two tatts plus a touch up on another - I think that's a record for me!

Anyway I will be posting some video from the tatting extravaganza on Twitter tomorrow, which will lead to a blog and post with some information - a little tease, if you will - about the "A Woman Needs" video storyline. For anyone who's interested anyway.

I'm super excited, this is one of my favorite tracks on the record....which is probably why I named the record A Woman Needs. :) As I've posted before, the video has been shot and will be available early in the new year.
